New to SCIL? This is our new wiki site. Our main web presence is still hosted at scilspace.com, but this site serves as a place for members to quickly create content that may be of interest to other members, or that just want to share. This site is a very much "fast and loose" scratch-pad. For official announcement, news, and member blogs, please check out the official site at scilspace.com. Join the discussion! SCIL maintains a mailing list that is open to anyone to join. This list is for general discussion among members and the greater community. Please feel free to share ideas and join in the conversation by signing up at lits.scilspace.com Membership You don't have to be a member to attend one of our meetings, or to make use of the mailing list, etc. That said, SCIL is currently seeking new members. Members who join now will pay regular monthly dues of $25/mo (see by-laws for details and exceptions) and will automatically be granted "full membership" once a physical space is secured -- bypassing the process of starting as an associate member. Want to show your support? We understand that there may be members of the community who aren't ready to join and get involved in the all the messy details involved in starting a makerspace / hackerspace. But you can still help by making a small financial contribution which will go a long way toward covering the costs of starting a space like this.
